yes, but again, reboot and BSOD welcome !
I had the same problem with my HP 6930p. Read this thread, uninstalled my wireless driver (Windows 7 had installed it perfectly) Installed the Cisco VPN client 5.0.0.4.0300 rebooted and no BSOD anymore. Windows installed my wireless driver after this reboot....everything works fine!! Thanks everybody for the tips!!
I have the same issue. HP compaq nc6320 with broadcom lan driver and wireless intel/pro. I have try cisco VPN 5.0.03 and 5.0.04 and after instalation it connect correctly to work but after reboot blue screen.
I Installed Cisco VPN .4.300 in vista compatibility mode, and it will run and connect to my office successfully, but it BSOD's upon reboot.
Running a sony vaio SZ with a Intel win 7 wireless driver.
Ok, I give up. Just reinstalled 7000 while ago, and first thing after clean install I've applied Cisco VPN client 4.300 and works perfect. Thanks to you all for hints!
Worked for me too. Reinstall fresh copy of windows and install Cisco VPN 5.0.04.
Thank's
This worked for me.
1. Install Cisco DNEupdate. DNE Support - Deterministic Networks
2. Reboot
3. Take ownership and delete ndis.sys (in c:\windows\system32\drivers).
4. Take ownership and delete ndis.sys.mui (in c:\windows\system32\drivers\en-us).
5. Install Cisco VPN Client 5.0.04.0300 or above.
6. Reboot
7. Windows 7 will repair itself (because we deleted those files). This will take a minute or so and it will automatically reboot.
8. All should work well!
