that's the exact program I have.

so all I need to do is to shut off the firewall and AVG and load it up as admin?

    I have Windows 7 HP, 64 bit....

    Lost

I have psp pro x3 and version 8. I am using psp pro x3 and have an win 7 home edition 64 bit version. I can get about half the plugin to work. the other give me an error message "Unable to load file. The plug in may not be installed properly or be missing files".

I have many other plugins that work. I have downloaded drivers and did corel updates and specific updates for drivers. I have no clue what the problem is or how to solve it. I have tried everything I can think of. Anyone have any ideas and I am curious why half my plugins work.

    Don't give up hope..

I'm posting this for those of you that find this thread via websearch (like I did)...

I just replaced my HP laptop (Vista-x64) which ran PSP 7 just fine, with a ThinkPad running Windows 7 x64 SP1. I was able to install from my Jasc product CD (as Administrator) without problem, but when I ran it, I got the pop-up mentioned earlier in this thread ("did not run properly" or something like that). I then set the executable to run in XP-SP3 compatibility mode, and got a security-popup instead.

However, on a whim, I set the compatibility mode to Win 2000, and PaintShop Pro 7 (SEVEN) is running fine without error(fingers-crossed).

    Happy Photo-editing!
