HP Advisor Crash
Well to sum it up.. how about a nice picture of it, BTW I think it has something to do with the update thing.

HP is a clogged toilet when it comes to being useful software. Unless you have a real use for it, I just suggest you un-install it. I've never understood why HP loads so much of their own pointless crap onto machines. <end rant>
I can confirm what Johnathan Lyman says - HP Advisor can be rather pesky; it has in the meantime been replaced with HP Support Assistant - which, I am sorry to confirm via my own experience (thanks to my HP laptop), is just as buggy. I had to remove it. You can read more over here:
Problem with updated HP Advisor Program Loading - HP Support Forum
Have mutiple HP laptops here.Software bloat is a term used to describe the tendency of newer computer programs to have a larger installation footprint, or have many unnecessary features that are not used by end users, or just generally use more system resources than necessary, while offering little or no benefit to its users.
Bloatware is not appreciated, needed or indeed used.
BTW Did you have a question to ask?
I've had 1/2 dozen HP Pavilion PCs over the years. I take that stuff off right after removing the Norton crap. If you have a problem start an account here instead:
HP Business Support Center
Users helping other users, even though it says "business" it's not paid support. Just a forum. But you can search for good stuff like PDF user manuals, driver downloads etc.. as well as asking for help.
