    pdf security

Hi everyone. New Member / first post.

I have Adobe Reader 9 installed. When I receive pdf files which require a password to open, and I open the files because I know the password, how can I then disable the password security feature so that I need not go through this step each time I open the file. Do I need Adobe Acrobat Professional for this or is there some way I can do this from inside Adobe Reader 9

    Thanks in advance

I think only the author can change or delete the password. Maybe someone can correct me. Nevertheless here is a link of Adobe passwords.

There is a later more secure ver of Adobe 9. Adobe Reader X you might take a look at it.
