There's also a bunch of free alternatives now.
CDBurnerXP: Free CD and DVD burning software

despite it's name it's compatible with win 7 and vista.

Unless there's been some kind of new update, or it's been completely rewritten, it was always a given that InCD was skipped during the Nero install. On top of that, drag-and-drop burning apps always had issues. Burn the discs properly from within the burning app of choice, and you'll never go back.

I could very easily see InCD interfering with CD/DVD operation and causing those kinds of issues (in your other thread). Like I said, packet-writing software, meaning apps that burn discs on the fly from dragging and dropping, having been notorious for not working or causing overall system issues. They've been avoided for years now, due to issues much like what you describe.

VirtualCloneDrive adds an option to close the optical unit tray when you right click over it, I find it very useful.

You can always "upgrade" the SPTD.SYS driver to latest version from DuplexSecure - Downloads
