Sometimes things are left behind in a running service and won't let you remove then until you go into safe mode and turn them off and then remove them. I can't tell you how all this works but it has happened to me many times. I use add and remove, Revo, Ccleaner, Search Everything, and regedit and still at times their are left overs I find weeks later. I have never had add and remove see all programs on my computers.
Yes, not all apps/programs/utilities show up in Add/Delete (Programs and Features). You can always go into your C:\ drive and search all of your Programs folders.

A work-around to removing all of the left-over remnants from "deleted" apps/programs is to go into Advanced Search and manually remove them. Search the name of the app/program and in addition, search any other key words that might be used in the files. Also, be sure to search the entire computer, rather than just the Index, and check the box that says: "Include non-indexed, hidden, and system files." If any files turn up, you can just delete them right from the Advanced Search screen.

Windows 7 Professional

Thx for your response, I have programs that will allow me to remove programs.

What I'm looking for is a way to fix Windows 7 so that the uninstall will show all programs.

Windows isn't "broke", it simply won't show all the programs, utilities on your computer. Revo Uninstaller doesn't either.

Here's what Microsoft Answers says:

"You may refer to the below link:

Run the SFC (System File Checker) scan on the computer to fix the system file errors on the computer.
To run SFC scan, follow the steps:
Open an elevated command prompt. To do this,
i. Click Start,
ii. click All Programs,
iii. click Accessories, right-click Command Prompt,
iv. and then click Run as administrator.
v. If you are prompted for an administrator password or for a confirmation, type the password, or click Allow or Continue.
vi. At the prompt, type sfc /scannow and hit Enter. Once the scan is complete, restart the computer for the changes to take effect.
