My suggestion is exactly the opposite.... Never use registry cleaner.
In the hands of accomplished computer users, registry cleaner could be helpful.
In the hands of novice computer users, registry cleaner is a time bomb.

You will find many articles saying it is ok to use registry cleaners.
Ask yourself this .........................
What is your computer skill ? Good enough to know what to do and what not to do with registry cleaners ?
If something goes wrong using registry cleaners, do you know how to repair the damage ?
If answer is " no " to just one of the above, then don't use it.
It's your computer, your call.

The above nails it on the head. And this is true no matter which registry cleaner you choose to use.
Registry cleaners are powerful, potentially damaging tools in the hands of unenlightened Windows users.
My advice?
If you don't have a thorough knowledge of the Windows Registry, stay away from such utilities; the benefits don't warrant the risk. And I don't believe there is any noticeable speed boost, which I can only presume is your goal.
If you do have a thorough knowledge of the Windows Registry, then you still don't need a Registry Cleaning Utility as you will already know what to do- and not do.
I see these utilities as no more than marketing hype. They purport to have the capability to invigorate your Windows-based Computer, when ultimately they only provide a great opportunity for disaster.

Honestly, getting rid of kilobits of registry errors doesn't really increase performance, what does is defragmenting the registry. I use Clean My PC registry cleaner, it has cleaner and defragger functions that's I've used personally and on other machines for more than two years and every time I've defragged the registry when it's about five or six percent or more fragmented, it does put boot times and app response times back to when you first installed everything.
And no, I'm not kidding!
