    uninstalling windows live essentials

How can I do this completely?
I ask because I have uninstalled the programme via the Control Panel but when I try to reinstall I am getting various errors , some of which refer to updating the junk filter which is in the Windows Live Mail.
I imagine that with a clean uninstall that this error would not appear .
But would a 100% clean uninstall mean the loss of all my emails?

    thanks

If you don't want the junk filter, stop using Email & revert to writing letters.

    thanks
    this is one of them
that I can see in Event Viewer

Product: Junk Mail filter update -- Error 1321. The Installer has insufficient privileges to modify this file: C:\Program Files (x86)\Windows Live\Mail\wlmfilter.dat. System Error 5

There is another that comes on the screen immediately after the installation is 100% downloaded and ready to go.

it looks like another program is preventing the installer from working"

    Source SpamFilterData

I have tried to figure out what spamdatafilter could be (via Google searches on the term)and I can't trace it to any reliable provenance It makes me suspicious it is some kind of an infection but I am no means certain that it it is not somehow connected to Windows Live Mail or Norton (my AV program)

I have done that buit that does not remove the program completely.
For example C:\Program Files (x86)\Windows Live\Mail\wlmfilter.dat. is still there . - along with a large amount of other stuff
Do you know how I can remove the whole kit and kaboodle?
