Windows 7 - WinRAR

Runs well on windows 7, 64bits.

why does it need a password before extracting a file?? i need help please.. i need a password please..

It's not likely that Winrar needs the password.

The file needs the password. Some files need passwords and others don't.

You can't extract without the password.

Go back to your source for the file and dig for the password.

no special reason at all to stay with winrar , it was just a matter of tradition that can be broken /
but what if I tell you that winrar was actually installed , as I clicked on the link on the desktop (created by setup) the program refused to start , then I decided to take a look at winrar folder , and all the files were there . as I clicked directed on the exe it worked.
weird things ocurr with Windows 7 , I am about to loose my temper , format and install windows xp sp3 back on my machine.

7zip.. does everything winzip and winrar does and you don't have to pay for it

hello tech friends, i gat a new Lap Top it came with Windows 7, and i run it as the Admin since well its my personal, ( btw i have my older Lap top , and the load fine so this one is messing with me) well i have bee trying 2 add some Sprites to my Navy Field game, and i keep getting that message below as u can see now i pick what i want and start the prosses it download fine and as soon as i click Extract to C drive/program files/SDnet/ SRR Folder it hits me with this, can some1 PLEASE advice me on what the hell i am doing Wrong. i am on pretty much on all day and night u can contact me at........
