I didn't find these on the list, I tried they and they work perfectly:

    Download Managers:
    * Internet download manager v5.17 build 5 : much better than download accelerator, also works with IE/Firefox/chrome and other broswers, and let's you download videos from sites like youtube or others ( basically any flash video )

    Video Editing:
    * Boilsoft video Joiner V5.32: Joins AVI, WMV, 3Gp, MPEG, MP4 and Real Media video files without changing the encodnig or quality
    * Boilsoft video Splitter V5.16: Splits AVI, WMV, 3Gp, MPEG, MP4, Real Media, AC3 and Video CD video files without changing the encodnig or quality

PowerDVD 9.0 trial version went to work when ticking Vista compatibility and run as admin on the 64bit RC. DVD Player Software - CyberLink PowerDVD – #1 Playback Software for DVDs and Blu-ray Discs

Another one is the latest neoDVD 7.2 dvd, vcd burning software that is incredibly lightweight and less bloated then other programs seeing far fewer errors as well. Mediostream Products | neoDVD
A slight bump and update on the neodvd product here. Unless prepackaged with a video capture card or tv tuner/capture combo card the 7.2 is only available in electronic downloads from Mediostream which can be a royal pain for an otherwise excellent software.

Now that I finally got through the shareware part and now have the full activated version on the 64bit 7 and still need it installed on the 32bit as well I ran into a slight problem to pass along where. This may or may not be seen on the 32bit however.

The first image shows what is seen when clicking on the Start>All Programs>neoDVD taskbar item there or by way of the shortcut created to run into the need to buy? That was just bought at the time and activated!

The program still works as it should however by simply going to the individual function you are planning to use noting the other items seen in the menu folder in the second image which starts the program up normally! I ran into this problem at first with the Creative audio console launcher when running the 64bit beta.

The second install of that on the second host 64bit and 32bit RCs saw no problems at all for those. It seems the problems continue on the Host's reinstalls with the same error seen for one part of the program. Other then that the program is pretty self contained in the Program folder except for the desktop shortcut and Start>All Programs folder.

Raxco PerfectDisk works well for me in W7.
It has a smart defrag tool that moves all your boot files to the front of the disk and also optimises the free space.
I find it works really well.
Tonight I've just had an email from Raxco pushing their new PerfectSpeed tune up utility which includes a reg cleaner etc.
They are offering it at $19.99 as an introductory offer.
I might try the trial version but up until now I've been using a combination of CCleaner and Raxco PerfectDisk and my system is running very well indeed.

    All the best, John:)

Probably one of the few tuneup ultilities used here are strictly freeware since most tweaking is done manually here. The latest for 7 in fact as far as trial with the option to buy the full version is the Tweak-7 1.0 Build 1002
