Windows 7 - Skydrive showing only 5gb space instead of 25gb

I recently singed up for windows live services, the main reason was the 25GB free storage limit it was offering as my dropbox was filled

but to mt amazement when i checked my available free space in skydrive it only shows 5GB instead of 25Gb as advertised

am i missing something here

Me too. 5GB free of 5GB. But I have to say I don't remember 25GB being advertised.

It isn't confusing at all, and was clearly spelled out for me when I started using the services. Maybe you missed some of the set up screens? I swear I remember that being explained.

You get a 5 GB chunk put aside for your Live Mesh storage, which is part of your overall 25 GB online SkyDrive.
