suggestion for image zoom softwares ?

I am pretty much disappointed with w7 zoom function. I can't zoom an image where I want to focus too. Its getting difficult to zoom and edit images

any suggestions friends ?

If you are trying to edit images use GIMP - Windows installers it's free you can zoom in on images with it. Here is a one pixel by three pixel image.

Thanks for the reply and help Jerry. But can it work on images just for zoom purposes ?
Like example I usually view the landscape pictures pretty closely I would not be editing any file over then just for zooming, so is there any zoom or a picture viewer software that could zoom at a particular point ?

The built in windows picture viewer can zoom to any point. Just zoom as much as you need and the hold the left mouse button down to drag the image to the point you want.

open image with Windows Picture Viewer (default in win7) then use your scroll wheel to zoom in or out

Hold down windows key and press + it will open the magnifier and you can play around with the magnification settings and window size etc.
