Sun Java UI in Control Panel

Sun Java versus Oracle Java. The control panel of my Windows 7 system had an icon that launched a UI for Sun Java. This UI could not properly update Java. The program manager listed three versions of Java, two by Oracle and one older one by Sun. I decided to remove the Sun version for security reasons. To my surprise the control panel now launches an Oracle UI that allows me to manually launch an update.
