Query SlimDrivers

Have this fantastic little app on my machines (5) but on my main machine - my Sandy Bridge build on boot I end up with my desktop and the SlimDrivers scan window on screen. This doesn't happen on any of the other machines and only starts up on demand.

Now I've tried stopping it by unticking it in autoruns (Everything & Logon) and apart from deleting the app altogether I don't know how to stop this pop up happening.

So am I doing something wrong here or does it need uninstalling and reinstalling.

Check to see if there's an auto update option. Most of these, like Microsoft, give the option to just notify of an update or to check manually.

Thanks

Ok carwiz will go have a look - I did notice a while ago while doing a reboot after a BIOS update that it was "stuck" on an update that it couldn't download - have set that to ignore so that i suppose could have been the root cause.

In any case I'll still check for what you said.

Oh dear went onto their site and thought I might as well have the full version to be able to download all at once option. Ended up talking to a machine called "Baron". Very disappointed with that! So the one at a time will suffice for what I need anyway.

The other point is that it uses "the cloud" which I am not that sure of - don't know what others think.
