Latest version is Microsoft Dynamics CRM Server 2011 published 3/1/2011.

You probably can use Dynamics CRM 4.0 (Jan. 2008) but I'm not 100% certain.

K just wasn't sure if I needed to use a server version... or does it matter? We have a network with Windows Server 2008 & the workstations run Windows 7. For everyone to access the same database, would it be installed onto the server or onto each workstation, with just the datafile on the server?

Perhaps this will help:

(I would use 2008 as server.)

I'm trying to decide between Windows Home Server and Windows Server 2008 R2 for my home server PC. I'd like to avoid spending extra money if Server 2008 R2 would do the job....

If you do get any hiccups during install but manage to install it, does it run alright? Any problems? I'm interested in C# and ASP.NET development only....
