My PHP wont load in XAMPP

I have set up XAMPP but cannot get MyPHP into the services control panel. I have MySQL, Apache & FileZilla but need PHP. I can see it in the directory on my C: drive but cannot see it when I click on the services or SCM buttons.

When installing it I kept getting error messages about port 80 being used... would this affect PHP?

    Any help would be appreciated.

PHP is not a service; it's an Apache module which XAMPP will have pre-configured. If Apache works, PHP will work.

Unfortunately, the port 80 warning during install probably means that Apache won't work.

You can look at the 'Listening Ports' section of the Network tab in Resource Monitor to find out what is listening on port 80.
