lost fonts in windows 7, office 2007 32 bit laptop

Hi All, I have a 32 bit Hp 620 laptop using legal windows 7 professional and office 2007. Recently i realised that i cannot use Times New Roman Font. Earlier documents that were on the font appear tiny. Any suggestion guys?

It appears to be a problem common to HP computers, and specifically ones that use HP's image for the operating system (i.e. the problem doesn't appear to occur if you wipe the drive and clean install Windows).

For some reason, the fonts folder is corrupted and has various fonts missing.

My neighbour had this problem and I got round it by copying and pasting the contents of a Windows Vista Fonts folder into the HP computer's fonts folder.

It sounds like your fonts folder has been corrupted & that you have fonts missing. Try redownloading the missing/broken fonts and putting them in the folder again, making sure to replace old files. Copying + pasting all the fonts from another working PC's folder would be good, too.
