Dreamspark - Expression Studio 4 d/install issues (Student Editition)

Anyone around here check this out?

I'm trying to dl and install it and somehow it's not creating a software executable that I can see. It also gives me an error when attempting to uninstall - so I tried using the Windows install cleaner and it's still sitting in my uninstall options in the Control Panel.

It downloaded an ISO image rather than your typical installer. I thought I extracted the installer but so far nothing...massive headache, now I know why this isn't Industry Standard - very poor

tried again and got a "Fatal Error" during installation - what crap.

    is this even worth it?

Which Windows uninstall cleaner did you use? I also d/l this from Dreamspark and after extracting the ISO file it installed flawlessly. The reason it downloads an ISO is so you can easily burn it to disc should you so wish.

Try Revo Uninstaller as this can usually do a very thorough job of removing corrupted installs.

I think what happened I somehow snatched up the wrong installer or something...

I used my Windows install cleaner, ran a system restore, updated my .Net and then extracted the proper installer from the ISO.

I found it odd that they would provide an ISO for apparently "limited" software. Thought it would be a 1 time installer type deal with the student account.

Anyways it's on - not sure if I like the UI, feels like any other Open Source program.
DO you know if there is a Vector based option with Blend(sketchflow) or Design?

I guess I'm spoiled with my PS 7.....eh.
