I guess this belongs here seeing what the program tries to do. Only recently have I been getting this popping up. It's really, really annoying to say the least! You know, you're right in the middle of doing something important and this damn thing comes out of nowhere. At first I thought it was a Win 7 built in program but on Googling it up I now believe it's a pop-up, one giving me false info in order so I'll sign up to the service. Is there any way to get rid of the damn thing?

Can we assume you have tried un-installing it from control panels?

Yes, I've looked, but like I said, from what I can tell it's an Internet pop-up. There's nothing on either my control panels nor my programs list, well, not that I can see anyway, that is unless it's hidden.
