    Uninstalling programs is not working.

I am trying to uninstall some programs on my computer but every time I try, I get this same message which I put below. Of course I have rebooted my pc, and the other more obvious issues concerning this but every time I go in and try it does the same thing. I really need to get some programs off my pc! This is driving me crazy! There was another post exactly like this one but is a bit old so I went ahead and posted a new thread. And it never said if the guy fixed the problem he was having or not. Please Help! TY

Not sure why it wont let me paste what it says onto here (unless it has and I can't see it at the moment) but it is a box that comes up that states that I have to wait for the other program to finish uninstalling before I can do another in which it NEVER is finished. It just sits there like that.

Hello eascusa and Welcome to Windows 7 Forums!

Once in a while, Windows' uninstall breaks on certain programs and utilities that you have installed. This can happen for any number of reasons.

In any case, this is what I would try: (Be sure to get the free versions of both these programs
    1. Download, install, and run this program (choose the Uninstall Programs option): Advanced Uninstaller Free
    2. Download, install this program: CCleaner
    3. Run CCleaner and choose the Registry tab; do a scan and check all the references to program remnants that you want to uninstall
    4. CCleaner will prompt you to backup the registry before the 'fix'; be sure to do that; then let it fix the registry.
That's it! I would re-boot the computer. Now check to see if the Windows Uninstaller still shows your programs listed.
In the unlikely event that it does, run Advanced Uninstaller again, but this time after you choose Uninstall Programs, look for a button at the bottom that is labeled: Remove Invalid Entries
Click that and Advanced Uninstaller will let you know if there are any broken uninstall files, offer to fix them, and remove any extraneous registry entries pointing to them.

I hope this is clearer than mud and that it helps you,
