Windows 7: Lexmark Productivity Studio, Word in draft mode template, ebook

I want to scan an unpublished 1979 document of 150 pages using Lexmark Productivity Studio and put the pages to be edited in a Word draft mode file or folder template. The only changes I want to add to this religious treatise on prophetic, applied religion, is footnote comments and references made by me and others who knew the author, Rev. Claude Williams, whose biography, "A Faith to Free the People,"by Cedric Belfrage was published in 1944. He is a semi-famous man. In 1979, at his memorial service, his family and I swore we would get his religious treatise published. We plan to burn it to disks and send copies of the disks by mail to publishers we hope to interest in publishing it as a paperbook or as an ebook to be run on computer devices. Productivity Studio balks at completing this task, especially in sending it to file template to be edited later. How shall I proceed to get the file filled with the 150 pages ready to be edited in Word draft mode?
