    Web Site Interference

I run a web site www.hmscardiganbayassociation.co.uk and people keep trying to use it for a reason other than its purpose. They complete all the text boxes with spurious letters some of which lead me to believe its for SPAM purposes.
At the moment I have no samples to attache in a screen shot but no doubt they will be available in the immediate future.

To try and stop this I am considering the use of CAPACHA in the hope it may deter them.

Can anyone tell me where I can get the HTML code for this so I can copy and paste it in the appropriate place please?

I hate to tell you but captcha/recaptcha is useless and once your on the spammers lists they aint going away, all you can do is clean it up.

I thought that might be the case but I also thought that if I included a reCaptcha it would deter them because they would have to complete the code etc and they couldn't be bothered. Did you have a look at the screen shot I sent and if so, what do you think they are up to??

They can walk straight past reCaptcha, either using automatic software of low paid 3rd world labour.

The screenshot looks like it's automatic spam via a script, what they are up to filling in junk like that I have absolutely no idea I gave up trying to work out what they achieve with some of the spam years ago.

The best thing you could do (we do it here on registration) is just have a simple unique question and answer field (this will kill the scripts)

    Example
Enter the colour of grass in the box below

    Website Interference

As per my previous posts I am experiencing web site problems from an unknown source (Please see screen shot attached) and have been trying to creat a simple question and answer box to counteract these auto scripts as suggested by a member of this forum. In the process I have corrupted www.hmscardiganbayassociation.co.uk/page6.html of my site, in particular the 'Sign On' button which is supposed to send the form to me, at the same time, display an acknowledgement on page 7. I have been pouring over the Dreamweaver 8 manual in an attempt to rectify the problem but have got no where. Can anyone please help me put things right?

I would be very, very grateful for some help with this one.

    Regards,
