Hi,
I'm not really sure if this is the right place to ask, but I've been Googling this problem and came across a link to your forums with someone having the same error code, whilst they were trying to install the latest version of Java -
Java error 2753
I have been trying to re-install My O2 Home Broadband Assistant (as a newer version) on my laptop, but I keep getting error 2753 and I have no idea how to fix it.
I have ran CCleaner, and fixed all the issues it found; I have tried opening Command Prompt and entering "regsvr32 vbscript.dll" to which I get the message that it has succeeded, but I still get the same error message when I try to install (I have repeated both these actions several times); I have restored my system back to before I uninstalled the older version I had, but this made absolutely no difference.
I know it's not essential that I have the broadband assistant installed, it's just driving me insane as to why it won't install, but I'm really quite a novice when it comes to this.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
