    how can i stop anyone from deleting a folder/file


    I need a folder /file protection software which can help me to protect my folders/files from deleting.................pls help.

    If your file system is NTFS and not FAT32, then you already have this protection built-in Windows.

    This topic is very exhaustive and can not be included in this post. Read about NTFS permissions to files and folders from below link.

    NTFS Permissions

    Study about the "Deny" permissions. Basically you need to give a "Deny" permission to "Delete" function for the files and folders you wanted to protect.
