Money 2005 downloads in W7

I am currently running Vista and looking to upgrade to Windows 7.

My most used program is Microsoft Money 2005 version 14-1105 which I see on the threads will work with a "Sunset" version. It appears that this will not download quotes or direct downloads of bank transactions. Is this correct or can I simply run it as existing in compatability mode. If so how do I effect the transition.

I am unsure if it is correct but checking it is simple and reversing it if needed simple as well

To run in compatibility mode Right click the file you use to launch it>properties>compatibility> chose OS (IE VIsta SP, or XP)

If it doesnt work simply uncheck the checked OS>

I might be wrong, but didn't Microsoft Money discontinue the ability to download financials? You might want to check with Microsoft on this. I had Microsoft Money Plus Deluxe and it has worked with Win 7 with no problems. Also found this:
Microsoft ends sales of Money personal finance software.
When: June 30, 2009
Effect: As of July 1, 2009, you will no longer be able to purchase Microsoft Money. If you had purchased Money Plus prior to this date you will still be able to Activate your purchased copy of Money Plus.

In addition, Online services (direct online statements, bill pay, quotes), Activation and Assisted Support for Money will end on Jan 31, 2011.
Hope this helps. Haven't tried the sunset version yet.

In Money 2005 via Vista now the downloads of market prices still functions perfectly as does the download of Bank transactions. As I read the sunset version the market prices will not function and the Bank transactions will ony download and import via an OFX file and not automatically as at present.

Has anyone updated to Windows 7 and retained this functionality?

I appreciate that if I install Windows 7 and it does not work I can always reverse it but this seems a lot of hassle to get back where I started from
