    How do I change a program's icon?

I downloaded the program Sublime Text 2 and I am not liking the default icon given. How can I change the program's icon to be used on the taskbar, start menu, etc.?

I was considering IconPackager, but I don't want all my icons to change, just one. I know their is got to be a free way out there or some sort of hack out there...

hi ChapDaddy65, and welcome to sevenforums, possibly the awesomest forum in cyberspace,

i don't know how to change a program's icon, but it's real easy to change a shortcut's icon - simply right-click on it, and you'll see a 'Change Icon...' button.

you can then drag that shortcut onto the taskbar or wherever.

Wow, i'm dumb, I was trying to change the icon of the actual program (the .exe file) by going into the right click properties and i dont see the change icon button, I forgot i can only see the change icon button on shortcuts.

    Thanks.
