    Free 64 bit uninstaller

Does anyone know of a free software uninstaller that will remove residual or left over files?

    Hi huffman

This is favoured by many - Download Revo Uninstaller Freeware - Free and Full Download - Uninstall software, remove programs, solve uninstall problems works fine on x64 systems but the free version doesn't remove x64 bit programs. Not sure whether the paid version does but it works excellent on a x64 system.

Danny, the paid version does deal with programs from the x64 Program Files. That is their trick. They lure you in with the x86 and then when you migrate to x64 they want you to pay.

But usually it is not such a big problem because even on an x64 system, most progrmas are in the x86 Program Files.

Here are a few specialized uninstallers that might be handy: Other Software | Uninstallers

And those are for AV programs: AV Uninstallers

Thanks for the info Wolfgang, wasn't sure. It is one program I would be willing to pay for in the future as more programs are made in a native 64 bit format. Not much use for it as yet though.
