sounds like you have a nvidia driver issue. i bet you are using 285.62.
if you are either rollback the driver or install the 285.79 beta driver.

Oh wow! I was going crazy trying to figure out this problem and I just found this thread and it worked for me too!!!
I'm so glad this thread was here.
I'm also irritated at Nvidia though because their latest approved driver is even worse, it crashes my entire system...
only the beta version 285.79 let me export video without any crashes. I haven't tried the other betas to see where the bug gets introduced...but not sure if its worth experimenting now that its working for me.
just scary that their official versions have such horrible bugs

Sorry for the bump. I don't know how to update WLMM ALONE..and..

as for my NVIDIA..it's the factory driver. But I don't know how to check the version, nor how to find v285.79b

I thought of dxdiag Display tab, under Drivers it says 8.15.11.8655 (!?) and Date is old, 7/29/09

Oh, and the card is only a NVIDIA 6150 SE

Please assist..and I am def. making a restore point before in case anything stops working after

EDIT: So I found that driver install, it said I was on v1.something, pretty old. But I did install the newer one and same result
