Component temperature measuring

I need to measure the temperatures in various components during processes and came across this site does anyone know if it any use / accurate / safe?

...so long as your particular hardware is supported by it.

Jeez this is what I do like so much about this forum such quick replies and nice people - no BS!

Thanks mickey I'll give it a burl - have a Sandy Bridge build with all new stuff so should be ok, just that I wanted to test some different thermal pastes - some not proprietary brands that I have been working on and want to keep an eye on how they go.
