    Visual C++ Runtime Library Assertion failed

    This happens from time to time when trying to burn a DVD with video files containing pictures. All arranged in NERO 10.

    Same message every time: (PC has in the meantime been returned to the manufacturer for repair)

    Assertion failed!
    Program:...
    File:..\..\src\UDF102Impl.cpp
    Line:1344

    Expression:m_mapDirToInstance.empty()

    For information on how your program can cause an assertion failure, see Visual C++ documentation on asserts

    I have read this probably is not "a real problem", but a software problem.

    Can someone please help me in this matter.

    At some point the burning issues with Nero outweigh the convenience of "kitchen sink" conversion/burning. Use Imgburn and 99% of your burning problems will disappear. Also recommend using Nero cleanup or removal tool, run several times, to remove all nero drivers.

    The video conversion/authoring/burning forums I'm on, just about everyone burns with

    You can find tons of free conversion software here:
