How can I use Acronis Migration Software with a USB instead of the CD?

I just purchased the Kingston HyperX SH100S3B 120GB SATA III MLC Internal Solid State Drive and it comes packaged with a handy HDD to SSD migration kit. The problem is, my rig doesn't have a disc drive, and I know that the program runs at boot and not through Windows.

My thought is that if Windows 7 can be installed from a bootable USB, then this software should also be able to as well. Can anyone provide a tutorial on how to do this?

Many thanks in advance.

So the process should be identical, only that I'm using Acronis instead of Windows 7?

Acronis vs Paragon backup software.
I have used Acronis for years. But with 7, I'm considering using Paragon. Have any of you used both? What is the difference? I mean, Paragon is FREE! It appears to be about the same thing really but free. Mine is for home use, no server. One thing I love about Acronis is that you can click the...

Need a good backup/migration software
I work as a computer technician for a retail company. I occasionally do side jobs (and I'm considering starting a business) where I am sometimes required to re-install or upgrade an OS, be it XP, Vista, or Win7. I currently use a standard backup software much like what you would find on an...

I've made my decision, I'm going to stick with Windows 7 Professional. The problem is that I have lots of 32bit programs that I need to migrate( along with their settings) to their 64bit version. Is it possible to use settings/profiles from the 32bit version to the 64bit version? Where do...
