What do I use to print CD labels and covers?

I have never needed to do this until recently, but would like to design and print my own CD labels and the covers that go into the plastic boxes. I have Windows 7 Ultimate on my PC, but am concerned that there seem to be loads of free software, but have no idea what is good or bad.

I want to produce good quality with my own logo and possibly photo on the cover and don't mind if I have to pay for software. What do you guys suggest please

    Have a look here.

PressIt | Free exPressIt DVD CD Labels & Covers Print Software

If you don't mind paying, any of the media suites such as Nero, Roxio or Cyberlink will have labelling capabilities built-in.

The very best label and cover making product I have used is SureThing: www.SureThing.com | Disc Labeling Software, CD Labels, InkJet Printable Skins for iPhone and iPad

It has lots of design templates built-in and is very customizable for specific printers, especially in the alignment area.

There are lots of programs out there, it just comes down to price, ease of use, and features. Me personally I been using Roxio (Easy CD Creator) for years, which also includes the lable maker. My Printer (Epson R800) also allows me to print directly on the CD itself.

Also, if you're crafty, you can make your own covers using Microsoft Word - Create your own CD and DVD labels using free MS Word Templates

There's also a forum devoted to CD Covers - Cdcovers.cc Forums - Powered by vBulletin

    Good luck.

Don't know why this is so hard to find..

Honestly the best CD/DVD cover printing software for use with downloaded covers is definitely UndercoverXP, I found it a couple years ago, lost it and then recently refound it after going through a load of commercial/shareware/freeware that was just all either too complicated or too simple.. Anyway, UndercoverXP can be downloaded from undercoverxp.tk

(I registered an account here just to state this since this represents one of the first times where SevenForums hasn't come through for me.. this is in general best forum ever for Windows power users, very impressive)
