Divx Plus No Longer Working on Windows 7

Been using Divx Plus and it's converter on trial and love the compact conversion of my divx files, but recently to click on the icon on desktop will not bring up either program. I've tried reinstalling too to no avail. My trial period was far from over when this happened.Anyone else have this problem?

I haven't used Divx Plus. For most things avi/divx I use the free XVid codec or tools that use it. For HD stuff either mkv or mp4. This search tool should find most free and paid converters. Just enter the From and To codecs/containers and hit Search.

Tools - Video software and downloads - VideoHelp.com

Divx Plus is also listed on that site. You can view other user's comments.

DivX Pro with license was available for download from Newegg till a few days ago, I understand. You may still try to download it from http://download.divx.com/fod/newegg/DivXInstaller.exe and put in your email ID during installation. If you are lucky you may still get registered. Try.
