Net Framework won't work

I'm not sure if this is the place to post this problem. My Net Framework 4 installation is messed up. Every time I Boot up I get a message stating that setup needs to repair netframework 4. I had to hide 3 NET updates because they continually fail. I cannot uninstall any of the Netframework updates listed in windows Add Remove Programs. I get a message stating Product Does Not Apply. I should mention its Win7 Ultimate x64

Did you try downloading and installing it again? Running the installer might get you a repair option!

Try downloading the full stand alone installer instead of the web installer.

The fault you described was fixed on my desktop pc after doing as in my pdf. I never knew it was faulty till then, it was just freezing now and again without me even using my pc. Repair to complete took 2 hours approx. Win7's Non-destructive Install..pdf

I guess, now you need to look at log files and what the error was and means. Any other software not working or other glitches with windows? Might be time to do a repair install.

.NET Framework 3.5
Hey, As I understand it, this is built into Windows 7 SP1, which is why I can't use the installer to install 3.5. The problem I'm having is that I am using a program that a friend made, which needs .NET framework 3.5 to run, and when I try to run it, it is giving an error which is a normal...

.net framework 4 issue causing XNA framework 4 issues
Ok, sunk a couple hours into what the problem is, unfortunately I cannot work out how to fix it short of reinstalling my operating system (If I take it off, I refuse to put it back on, to many headaches already). Basically I needed to update to .net framework 4, and my system lied and said it...

MS .net framework.
I have a question. With regards to MS .net framework, when I go into admin tools> services and I go to it, it is showing: Microsoft .NET Framework NGEN v2.0.50727_X86 but I thought I saw .... somewhere in my system, that my .NET framework was up around v.3.0 or 3.5 .
