    Best software to organise contacts?

So with my android phone upgrade I think it's time I organised all my phone contacts, email, messenger, skype, social network, blah blah blah..

What can people suggest me, what formats are most 'universal', what programs to use to edit, import/export, save, etc?

    Thanks for any input!

    Thanks, there Lord

my phone's a crappy lowend spec (LG Optimus P350 - it's slow, underpowered and was given free by my provider - imagine!)

But I wanted a way to consolidate all my contact info in one place, and be able to use that info with a variety of apps and situations.

I've investigated it a little, WinXP had Address book (.wab) but that isn't used now. Then came .vcf and Win7 has .contact files, but I wonder what else there is, and what's best.

    :)

you can set your contacts on your phone to sync with google contacts allowing you to view them on your google account. Then as far as I am aware any email client you use will detect contacts from google. Either that or you can export them from a file from the google website and import them to your email client.
