Please wait while windows configures.....

My particular application that is giving me trouble is AutoCad Mechanical 2010, so I get the message "Please wait while windows configures AutoCad Mechanical 2010". But as I have tried to research this I found that it happens with quite a few different programs. The pop-up appears every time I open Word 2007, but also appears at other random times. AutoCad Mechanical 2010 is already installed, running fine and all of my software is legit.
The most often recommended fix is to run the installer cleanup utility but that appears to mostly apply to programs you having troubles installing or un-installing. I tried running it a selecting a few different options, with no success.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks, Rich

Welcome to Seven Forums richlars. This is actually an Office issue. Do a google and you will find many hits. I'd suggest you 1st try to repair Office.

Start> In search box type Programs and Features

Click on Office 2007> Click Change> Choose Repair option, then click Continue. Restart your PC and see if this helped.
