Windows 7: PDF files defult to Photoshop 7

PDF files defult to Photoshop 7

When ever I try to open a pdf file the file opens in Photoshop 7 - the file icon is also Photoshop. HP laptop, Windows 7. Adobe Reader X is installed on my computer. How can I have the files defult to Adobe Reader?

right click a pdf and select "open with" then click default program and select adobe reader from the list ,if it is not there then you can browse to it in program files.
if it doesn't fix it then we can try the next step

Just right click on the pdf file and select open with..
It should say:Select a program from a list of installed programs.
Then look for adobe reader and select "always open with adobe reader or something. (It's in the left corner near bottom)
