Windows 7: MS VisualStudios Malfunctioning

yesterday, I had MS VS 2010n ultimate installed and i was getting out of daten errors. I uninstalled the oprogram, but there was so many libraries, tools, and junk, that were in the programs and functions. I wanted to do a clean reinstall.. Besides the prog, I removed:



MS VS runtime for office
some vs library
vs macro tools
and a few vs dev tools

Now Im reluctant and tried doing a system restore, but it couldnt be completed successfully. i made a restore disk, but I dont want everything to be lost. I have years of work and customizations.

Any help pl,z. doing a reformat of any kind wouldd be last on my lst.

suggestions?
