MS Basic programing Language

I used to use Microsoft Basic programing language for writng programs to solve mathmatical problems. I am talking 50 years ago!

Where did it go & how can I get a copy of it?

I know it ran under MS Dos.
So I would need MS Dos will it run under Windows 7 64 bit?

Is there a modern program that I can use & don't have to compile and is as simple as MS Basic? I Know it used to be called "Spaghetti Basic" but it worked!!

It was even used in the early "Space Race"

You are in luck - there are 2 choices (both free)

Microsoft Small Basic <== typically used by first-time programming students

Visual Basic 2010 Express | Microsoft Visual Studio <== the full-function Basic programming language with all the bells & whistles.

There is also VBscript. VBScript - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Or you could update yourself to Powershell scripting.
