Windows 7 - notepad symbol pasting problem

Hi everyone till now symbols where working on my notepad which i was copy and paste in from browser to notepad

but today its not working , i don't know the reason why

all the ASCII symbols are working but other symbols like

【

for all this i am getting the boxes

but if i write something then only i will save it .. when i write it any symbol like ➔ this also post as box

even previously saved text files which were showing the symbols property those also turned into boxes

i just don't understand the reason ?

When you go to save a Notepad file click "save as" as opposed to "save" and then you'll see the same choices as in my screenshot - and you just select the appropriate method of encoding as shown above, you have four choices available. The symbols in your example worked fine in ANSI encoding...

I tried to save in all the formats. first when i was copy from browser and paste immediately i get the symbol not even need to save it

bt now dont know what happend to my computer and suddenly all symbols stopped working

thats working in ms word it was working in notepad too but now not

Perhaps you have an issue with which fonts are installed on your computer...

Thanks to God

I solved the issue .. the problem was in the font.

I am posting the solution ,I hope the solution will be helpful for someone.

Go to the c:\Windows\Font

and now there were some fonts were hidden so i select all , right click on it and click on show all

Pleased you've got a result, but do remember not all characters will work in Notepad unless you choose the most appropriate encoding method...
