| | I've had it installed for years, no problem. Be aware, it will (maybe obviously) only alert to updates for programs that FileHippo lists. I also use SUMO, which is more comprehensive, just be sure to choose the installer without Relevant Knowledge, and pay attention to uncheck all the "extras" the installer wants to install. | | I once used one of those update checkers (don't remember the name). Every time some program's language pack was updated, I got an alert. It was kind of a pain. I got rid of it. |
