I got the question. I just suggested a reason you may have asked it.
I'm not aware of greater memory efficiency in the various versions of Windows with the same "bitness." But with MS one never knows without empirical tests. I do know that 64 bit will use more resources than 32 bit of the same edition since it's running SysWow64 32 bit emulator, and also has Registry duplication due to same. The Registry is cached in ram, but if you have ram over 4 GB you have access you wouldn't have with 32 bit. I guess the short answer is there isn't a short answer.
