Wierd problem with one user account

The pc has four user accounts , three are working perfectly normal, on one account using IE I can not download any program it always fails , on the same account using google chrome the same download is fine or on any other account it is fine on IE , also when clicking the windows button it never shows the last used programmes it is always blank , but the worst problem is that some of the photo folders are showing as empty but if you bring up the properties they have pictures in them , I have tried the obvious and nothing is hidden, also windows search does not work on any profile , HELP I am getting frustrated now

Seems like a corrupt account to me.Are these four user accounts standard or administrator??
I would suggest to back up the data from the said account, delete it and create a new one.Let us know how it goes.

All four accounts are admin, if I creat another account can I just re associate folders to the new account and iTunes etc , there are loads of files associated with that account it is the worst account to have a problem with. How does an account become corrupt and can it not be repaired?

There can be any number of reasons as to why account(s) get corrupted.I will ask some more knowledgeable Gurus here if your current account can be salvaged.Just in case you decide to delete your corrupt account, back up all the data associated with that account.Once you delete an account all the associated data with it gets deleted also.

Once you create a new admin account just copy all the data from previous account into the relevant folders of new account.
