Is there a way uninstall and reinstall free 90 days oem versions?
How can we reach hidden reg entries. I tried write "symantec" and "norton", search and delete entries in registry, but norton still says "expired".

I searched in google but didn't find good answer.

The easiest way to do that is to restore a pre-Norton Image and then reinstall Norton afresh. If you want to continue sine-die then you shall have to do that every 3 months.

But I am not sure if this legal and on the up and up. I don't think that it is. So the best is either to buy Norton or install a robust A-H\V like Avast or WSE.

I think you will find Norton is smarter than that. If you like it why not buy it.

Make sure you are using the latest Norton uninstaller for your product.
If this fails you could try could try reinstalling using their Uninstall - Reinstall utility (NRnR.exe) and use the latest uninstaller again.

I have Endpoint also. I do not believe that you can re-install "Norton" which was given as a free 90 day trial, once you un-install Norton.

I have symantec endpoint protection 11 and I am unhappy with it. When I tried uninstalling it from add/remove programs, it did not work and I manually deleted the files and registry entries according to the instructions on the Symantec Page. When I tried installing Norton 360, it told me that I had to first unistall symantec or norton as it was detected on my computer. I went and got Symantec Cleanwipe which ran successfully. When I tried to install Norton again, it still displayed the same message. I have tried running cleanwipe in safe mode as well as deleting everything in the registry with the phrase symantec.

Any help would be appreciated :P
First off, Symantec is very robust, a little heavy but extremely secure. Symantec is one of the best security softwares. I would imagine you uninstalled Symantec from the Control Panel. I am unaware of "add and remove" programs. I see you have Premium, so I'm not sure of the settings Premium employs. You cannot install Norton, while using Symantec, and vice versa. Once you uninstall the free 90 day trial of Norton, you cannot reinstall it, unless you reformat the system(recovery).

Thank you all for the replys. I would just like to clarify a few things. Firstly, I have Syamantec Endpoint Protection and NOT Norton. Secondly, I already deleted all the files and it no longer shows up in any uninstaller although the Norton installer detects it.

    Thanks
