Windows 7 - Windows Live Messenger Won't Uninstall?

| | Windows Live Messenger Won't Uninstall? In my control panel there is no Windows Live Essentials or any Windows Live programs. When I go to install Windows Live Messenger, it says that the program will be updated after installation. If fails to update and install. I have ran it as Admin, I have deleted all the folders associated with Windows Live Essentials and I still cannot get it uninstalled to re-install it. Can anyone help me?   |

| | You receive an error code 0x80070643 when you try to install Windows Live Essentials Try this too. http://forums.techarena.in/operating...ms/1371584.htm You could also try an SFC Scan: SFC /SCANNOW Command - System File Checker If none of the above helps, try using the Windows Installer CleanUp Utility |
