Windows 7: Trying to use RivaTune 2.24

Hello,

I am still searching the forum.... but I am sure you will know the answer and probably have a tutorial to boot (no pun intended).

I am trying to use RivaTune 2.24 on my Windows 7 RTM x64. The driver is not signed. How do I have Windows 7 "exempt" this driver and allow it? Or, how do I disable driver signing all together? I have seen a number of suggestions on the web using bcdedit, but until you so it's "ok", I ain't doin it!

Also, am I doing something stupid? Is disabling driver signing all that big of a deal? This is my only x64 machine..... everything else is x86.... so do I care?
