I had to kill it The WLE Photogallery used 5 GB of HDD space (that's more than the combined total of EVERY other program I have installed)!
I consider that to be excessive, since I only want to be able to tag images.
Based on that, the entire WLE install must be at least 10 GB. | My System Specs |

there is a bug in windows live essentials mail
What happens (I have posted this on the Micrososft Windows live Mail Website at Windows Live Mail Essentials 2012 will not allow group contacts - Microsoft Community
Windows Live Mail Essentials 2012 will not allow group contacts
What happens if you upgrade from version 2011 to 2012 if you try to send a group contact email it does not send
Comes up with an error msg. It doesn't matter if you have a live mail account or using a regular isp
This is ONLY happening on an upgrade from 2011 to 2012.
If you put it on a computer that did not have 2011 prior, 2012 installs just fine and you can send out a group contact list.
I have had this problem on 5 of my 7 machines and 15 of my client machines
Uninstall 2012 and reinstall 2011 and the group contacts go fine when you try to send a group list
I have gone back and forth with Microsoft in private messages and maybe finally they will figure out what is going on | My System Specs | | System Manufacturer/Model Number Dell Computers OS Windows 7 Pro 32/64 bit and Windows 8 Pro 32 Bit Memory 4gigs Graphics Card AMD Radeon HD and Nvidia Monitor(s) Displays Samsung 24". March 14, 2013 In reply to Marites Ma. post on March 14, 2013 Hello everyone,
We apologze for the delayed response on your inquiry. I understand that you are having issues on Windows Live Mail 2012 with your grouped contacts. Please be informed that this issue is still under the care of our Escalations team and is still undergoing further investigation.
Rest assured that once an update is available, everyone will be notified. Your patience and understanding regarding this matter is highly appreciated.
Thank you. You have no idea how aggrevating is your message, Ms. Marites Ma. You are the second moderator who posts to this thread the same apology, without saying what is the source of your information. Do you think that after 4-5 months anyone here trusts or believes that Microsoft cares about us or about fixing this product? Or is this an automated message you were picked to send to open threads on a rotation basis? PLEASE SPARE US FROM ALL THE FAKE CARE OR P.R. A resolution/fix is long due and we expect nothing other than results. If you read previous posts you should have realized that we are ways beyond falling to such P.R. We also run out of patience and moved on to Gmail, Thunderbird and other reliable products. I personally, don't use any Microsoft product anymore, unless there is no other choice.

Microsoft had a good mail program with Outlook Express and Windows Mail. They started getting more and more problematic with the Live series (2009, 2011, 2012). I'm using WLM2009 since it's still supported on Windows 7 and 8. The mail app in Windows 8 can't compare and the generally slow response of web based solutions like Hotmail & Outlook.com is too frustrating for me. | My System Specs | | System Manufacturer/Model Number OQO 2+ OS Windows 7 Enterprise Trial 32-bit SP1 CPU Intel Atom 1.86 GHz Motherboard OQO 2+ Memory 2 GB Graphics Card Intel GMA 500 Sound Card IDT Monitor(s) Displays LCD Screen Resolution 800 x 480 (portable) 1280 x 1024 (docked) Keyboard Slide out (portable) DiNovo Edge (docked) Mouse Eraser head (portable) Logitech Bluetooth (docked) PSU 9 Ah Battery (portable) or OQO Brick (docked) Case Shirt Pocket Sized Cooling Tiny Fan Hard Drives 64 GB SSD Internet Speed WWAN or 802.11G (portable) T1 (docked) Other Info DVD-RW OQO Docking Station Latest "Windows Essentials 2012" Version Released problems?
