MSS:// Streaming Issue - Windows Media Player 12
I am trying to watch webcasts for uni and am at a wits end.
I can not see the video for any webcast on the following link, the video box is just blank. I have tried IE9, Chrome and Firefox, all have the same problem. I have windows firewall permanently disabled and use ESET, and i have also disabled this firewall.
I have downloaded the k-lite mega codec pack
I have reset WMP using msdt.exe -id WindowsMediaPlayerConfigurationDiagnostic
I have checked the settings in WMP under the network tab and RTSP/UDP, RTSP/TCP and HTTP are all ticked. I have HTTP protocol proxy set to browsers and RTSP set to none.
I have used the command regsvr32 wmnetmgr.dll
I have uninstalled VLC player too.
Other people seem to just click the link and the video plays. Can anyone help?
