Advanced Uninstaller PRO: A Swiss Army Knife for PC Users - Completely uninstall any program, even if it has no uninstaller of its own
Hi Brink and All 7 forum members
I found Advanced Uninstaller Pro FREE version with the link above several months ago
and i am using it now i was using Revo uninstaller FREE version but i find it lacking when it comes to uninstalling 64 bit programs it does not find them , you have to buy there paid version to uninstall 64 bit programs !
Advanced Uninstaller Pro FREE does find all 32/64 bit and will uninstall them with no problem !
Just make sure you uncheck the optional addons you do not want .
Good Luck
Jerry W.

Curious. I've never had a problem with Zone Alarm.
It just has random conflicts with random programs. I can't remember the sordid history with other apps, but most recently it wouldn't play with uTorrent. I changed the firewall and no more system freezes. Oh, it also usually rates poorly here: www.matousec.com
Hey Recusant this is another good source of review / test material Comparatives||tests - reviews - reports just dig around in the list at the left of the page ie Proactive tests etc

All links for Driver Sweeper have been diverted to Treexy Driver Fusion, including the link on the first page.

Does anyone have any information on Driver Fusion?
Is it any good?

I cannot find any reference to it but I was told of a search app that I have since tried and it beats anything else I have used for looking for bits and pieces.

UltraSearch - Freeware fr die ultra-schnelle Dateisuche
I had 1.5 on my system. But I was only using it occasionally. Updated to 1.61 when I saw it used MFT instead of indexing. I don't know why but when minimized to tray, Shift Backspace seems to work as hotkey in addition to whatever is selected in options.

This is a really nice little utility.

edit: seems to be not smooth on shutdown or logoff when Minimize To Tray is enabled. Also may interfere with MagicJack when "autocheck new drives" is enabled. I would really like it if those rough spots were sanded down. Nice simple interface.

edit2: I noticed I added an entry to my general-purpose tray hotkey script to open UltraSearch in response to Shift Backspace. The weird behavior may be do to my script and not an UltraSearch bug. If I find out more I'll edit here. Don't mean to blame the software. With these hotkey things it's easy to forget when you add one.

Hum now I have seen Dariks mentioned but not the others - haven't had a look yet so can't say if any good.
