Windows 7: FREE Great Programs for Windows 7 [2]

Windows 7 32 bit

I used to write DLL shell extensions myself. But now I try to avoid using IContextMenuN interface unless there's no better way. The more you hook directly into Explorer the flakier it gets. I might be tempted if somebody wrote a free 64 bit shell extension skeleton wizard like I used for 32 bit back around 2001. No way I want to code up that interface crap by hand. The Song of the Volga Boatmen is playing in the background at just the thought.

Had a quick search but couldn't find anything so I have tried this and it is just really quick and easy to use for looking at files and the amount of space they take up.

I've used WDS for years. I love the graphics. It's a shame the port to 64 bit seems to be stalled though. I don't think the 32 bit version knows how to get around the folder redirection that Wow64 uses. But for speed I haven't seen anything come close to WizTree. Reads MFTs and is lightning fast. Of course for that reason it's limited to NTFS.
